LRENEE (also L’Renee) is a songwriter, recording artist, and performing artist. Her entrepreneurial work as an independent artist landed her a full page advertisement compliments of VIBE magazine, the placement of original song “Apples” in the Netflix distributed documentary “The New Black” (2013), and the release of seven albums.
The release of these albums caught the attention of Grammy Nominated Artist; Kem and led to the release of ballad “Don’t Say Goodbye” (2014) under Kemistry Records (Kim “KEM” Owens, CEO) in collaboration with Universal Music Group Motown/Capital Records. The ballad was added as a single on Kem’s “Promise To Love” deluxe album which debuted at #1 on the Billboard R&B chart.
The album release was shortly followed by a tour powered by concert promotions company AEG led by Jeff Sharp of which LRENEE was the opening act. A second leg of the tour began after ending a tour with iconic artist Charlie Wilson and soul singer Joe the same year. Upon the commencement of the second leg, LRENEE continued to warm audiences for current headlining acts.
